Kelly 50W Valve amp
Similar to the Selmer Treble'n'Bass 50W valve amp, the Kelly 50W Valve amp was made around the 60s & 70s by John Kelly's company in the UK see more info @ http://www.vintagehofner.co.uk/selmer/kelly/kel.html
After repairing replacing valve sockets fuse-holder mains switch and valves, for many years the amp worked well, but a fault that came later was a very loud intermittent buzzing at a gig, and without a backup amp plugging into the bass player's amp was the only option to carry on.
The problem was as simple as a voltage selector connector on top of the transformer shown below that had tarnished and was causing a poor electrical connection.
Now, good as new.
